In preparation for the 2018 World Cup, Nike hosted a press event in London to launch the newest Mercurial boot along with key apparel and equipment. During the event, 225 select media and influencers had the opportunity to explore the future of Nike Football.
The event included a reveal moment featuring over 50 Nike football athletes; a series of presentations around the 2018 World Cup; and the opportunity for guests to customize a jersey, interview athletes, and participate in an interactive product trial. Nike executives, designers, and athletes along with a spoken word artist, live band, and models brought the product to life and illuminated the distinct attitude and culture of Nike Football.
